Pizza wasn’t very nice and was just really cold. I’ve had the same pizza in another pizza express (in Preston) and it was lovely (and hot too). Maidstone PE is quite a nice place to sit and eat, but the food (from my experience) needs to improve, massively. I think the issue is the staff don’t seem to care.

Nice restaurant with good service. Feels like your in someone’s house which is odd. Be sure to actually ask for your bill when you’re ready to go as we were waiting half an hour for the waitress to come back after we turned down dessert despite it not being that busy. Otherwise can’t fault it!

Went for Mother's Day meal. Food very nice, as usual. Not surprisingly it was very busy and therefore rather loud

Made a booking online for 10 people and there was no mention of a deposit. Had a call from the restaurant several days later that they needed one which they wouldn't take over the phone and it could only be done in the restaurant which was apparently company policy. I'm not going to go into a restaurant several days before I actually want to eat to pay a deposit when it's 20 minutes away. How ridiculous! I've booked somewhere else now which couldn't have been more accommodating. Same deposit but accepted over the phone as you would expect.
