Not great. I was in a party of 11. Just seemed like they struggled to get the quality of the food right. One meal was sent back straight away. Veg across every meal looked old and dry. Couldn't even cut through the pastry of the pie. I do have to say, the staff were amazing. Lovely people and very attentive. Hopefully the kitchen can get themselves to the standard of the servers.

Just been to Griffin with my son for lunch. Service very good staff friendly & efficient. Had Sunday dinner three roast very good but beef was a bit too well done for me but that is down to personal choice. Would recommend.

Loved it! 1st Visit and it won't be the last. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was quick (was a Sunday night and not overly busy) and delicious - my pictires do not do it justice. £37 for two (with a glass pf wine). Mains and a pudding is not a bad price. Pub was clean and tidy and had a wonderful rustic feel to it. Such a welcoming atmosphere. Thanks for a lovely night x

This visit was very enjoyable! What a turn around to a failing pub. The place was full and food was great . Well done.

Lovely staff. Our waiter was very pleasant and attentive My rump steak was cooked to perfection. Asked for rare and it was perfect.
