So, I recently waddled into the Eight Towers Pub, my beloved local haunt, and let me tell you—this place is the *real* eighth wonder of the world. Why? Because they served me a mixed grill so glorious, it should be framed and hung in the Louvre.nnPicture this: a plate so loaded with meat, it could single-handedly feed a small village or just me, because I have no shame. Sausages, steak, chicken, and whatever else they could find in the kitchen—it was like a carnivorous symphony, and I was the conductor. The only thing missing was a tiny flag that said, “Congratulations, you’ve reached peak adulthood.”nnThe steak was so tender, I’m pretty sure it whispered sweet nothings to me before I devoured it. And the peppercorn sauce? Oh, the peppercorn sauce! It was so good, I considered drinking it straight from the jug don’t judge me. The sausages? Let’s just say they’ve ruined all other sausages for me. I’m now in a committed relationship with this mixed grill, and my fridge at home is jealous.nnThe staff at Eight Towers are absolute legends. The atmosphere was cozy, the Guinness was cold please be available again!!nnFive stars, two thumbs up, and a food coma that I’m still recovering from.nnCheers, Eight Towers—you’ve outdone yourselves. I’ll be back next week!
This pub has seen better days long gone are its glory days. The food here used to be lovely and the selection was good. I went in to day and the food menu was sad to say the least, the selection was dated. The hole place was not even 10% full on a sunday afternoon when the weather was glorious. I took my mum for some lunch and after seeing the menu we both decided just to have a drink and move on and go to a pub we now.
Have to update on this local pub. Had a late lunch today in here. Brilliant service food excellent. Just had fish , chips and peas as I fancied that. Hot, well cooked, good quality food. Fish absolutely tasty, beautiful white fish ,not greasy, in fact the whole meal was excellent. Such reasonable prices too. Can definitely recommend it xnnLocal pub, friendly, good service , not a bad atmosphere and food really good, hot served well and reasonably priced. Can't go wrong for pub grub. Would definitely go back.
Love the food here i had the chicken burger meal was cooked lovely my dad had roast beef dinner and cleared his plate my wife had a child's beef dinner and that was a good portion, will definitely be returning
