A really nice pub that’s been totally transformed since they’ve refurbished it. Very good selection of drinks and a lovely dining room serving very good food. Warm, stylish and comfortable. We’ve also stayed at the hotel when we had guests for the weekend and needed to give up our bedroom. Nice rooms and superb breakfast. A real gem of a pub in Carshalton.

Brilliant pub with wicked staff and really nice food...ideal for family get together or quick bite but also to pop in quick a quick drink too! The hotel has the most comfortable beds I ever slept in! Stayed there night before my wedding and was given a free glass of Dutch courage in the morning! Love this place

Oh lovely pub/restaurant. Clean, great food, nice staff and baby facilities. We took our 21 month old to the park (ducks, squirrels and birds) opposite, such a nice day out.

I took my pensioner father to get his hair cut and do the usual 5 pints in this location instead of the usual one. Beautiful setting, with a plaque on the wall indicating it was a coaching Inn from 1700 which was a nice piece of provenance. Upon entry, they were still cleaning but were serving. I ordered a pint of Aspall cider and a pint of ordinary bitter. I was charged £9.65 for the two. Upon returning with my change, I chanced upon her name, and said it was great that after over 300 years they still had a direct descendant of Dick Turpin working the bar and customer. Bottles of cider £5.85 ouch. There is a nice practical barrel decoration by the bar where customers can have their trousers taken down as many times as they damn well like 😉

Was at your pub this afternoon with my wife and son, we haven't enjoyed ourselves for ages, your meals was outstanding. Your staff are very polite. Refurbishment brilliant. Looking forward to revisiting later in the year
