This place was amazing. I was staying here during an educational tour of Europe and it was one of my favorite places we stayed. Very comfy beds, nice tv's, and I absolutely loved the British long bath. AMAZING breakfast. Overall a great place. If I stay in southern England again, it will definitely be here.

Friendly staff at check in made us feel welcome from the moment we stepped through the doors. Lovely, well presented room with only one issue (bulb not working in bedside lamp) which was fixed within 5 minutes of reporting it to reception. Breakfast was superb with the bonus of a free glass of Prosecco thanks to my husband's diamond member status. Already booked to go back this month!

Nice hotel with plenty of space. Hotel runs a shuttle bus to the station during the week but weekends best to get a taxi although you can get buses outside. Breakfast is brilliant

Rooms are big which is why they get 1 star. The rooms are old and damaged. Disgusting stains on the carpets. The breakfast was mediocre and probably only tasted good at the beginning of breakfast service, we ate after 9am so my children and I all left our plates full and had to eat outside of the restaurant. 2 of the staff had bad attitudes. The kids and I didn't like the food for dinner at all, again we left our plates full. We planned to stay here for 2 weeks but left after 5 days to stay at the best western plus hotel which is a 3 star hotel but has way better service and rooms.

Been there several times and it's been fine. This time they'd run out of soap and shower gel for the room. Not very good. I'm also not convinced that the room had been properly cleaned.
