I was slightly disappointed. I love Portuguese egg tarts- these were acceptable- but missing something- I love when there is a hint of almond flavor- which these did not have. The cheesecake tart also disappointed me- really didn’t have much flavor at all. The iced latte was quite good. Just wish it had less ice and more latte.
Great atmosphere, perfect for pictures. Food was as expected- a mix of sweet and savoury. Staff rush you a bit to order, especially if you’re new to the coffee menu.Food: 5/5
We stumbled upon this little gem while wandering through the Distillery District this Sunday morning looking for a place to sit and grab some breakfast. A lot of places did not seem to be open despite it being after 10am. Entered and were immediately greeted and after a short look around proceeded to order two breakfast sandwiches and a couple hot beverages. Service was super friendly and quick and the breakfast sandwich was over the top! FRESH, Tasty and a generous portion! Served on delicious whole wheat bread this was really a great food experience! The bakery has a cool vintage vibe and feels like a local bistro should. They do have a good selection of take out which we will definitely try at a later visit. There are stools and a small area on each side to enjoy your food or drink on site which we took advantage of. Thanks Brick St. ! Excellent Espresso too!
The sizes of the food is dwindling and the prices have almost doubled. This used to be a borito size. Now, it’s like a snack size. Last time ordering this. Btw, this cost 13$ for 4” Kofta Wrap.Food: 3/5
Have been coming here for many years, and frequently get the pulled pork bun. But what the actual F is this? Tiny pulled pork on a burger bun instead of a ciabatta bun. Very disappointing paying full price for such poor quality disgusting food.Food: 1/5
Never had any disappointing products from this bakery and this is my go to sweets pick up place whenever I am in distillary district. This time I got minced meat tart, pecan butter tart, two different kinds of brownies. All of them were like homemade excellent comforting dessert.
Both locations are great. First time at the Distillery location. Not too busy on a cold Tuesday afternoon. Staff was welcoming. Tasty treats and fresh coffee. Meeting Patty the Pigeon was fun too.
Delicious breakfast. I had the Triple Sunshine and my spouse had the Piggy's Cluck Sandwich. Very nice atmosphere, cozy, whole place smells nice. All the pastries look incredibly tempting, too!
Visited on Oct 8th at 6:30 ish. Lovely little bakery and the young man attending to customers was pleasant and knowledgeable about the items. We bought the whole wheat small loaf. It was absolutely horrible. The bread was tough, dry, hard to pull apart. Just absolutely terrible. I had to throw it out. Waste of my money and do not feel good about being cheated like this.
a lovely little bakery/cafe right by the main entrance to the District. During warm months there are tables/umbrellas outside - for extra seating space - sadly now November they are gone. there are still some tall chairs by the windows available inside. a great place to grab something substantial - a good selection of sandwiches, pastries including savoury - with some vegetarian options like the delicious Curry Veggie or Spinach FetaTurnovers. There are also sweet croissants and cookies and pies. Plus good coffee/hot beverages. you could also buy bread there - with many interesting varieties. Watch out for pigeons hanging out by the door, they are always trying to sneak in for some tasty crumbs ;
