Decent facilities but needs updating. Disabled friendly . Limited parking space on site and the road is also very congested with vehicles parked on the street . Parking is available near the park few yards away but this also get filled up very quickly. A coffee shop named the wheelbarrow is located on site but very expensive
So busy and too many events at one time for such a small venue. It's was good but parking is very limited. Toilet facilities is not great either considering few events at same time
Lovely afternoon coffee with friends served by a warm and friendly team. The staff were attentive and the environment is so earthy. Lots of great timber furniture which gives off an uplifting vibe. Good job! I'd give it 5 stars if seating had been more comfortable - but staff did get me cushions to help me get more comfortable
Great venue for empire grappling. The connected pub/restaurant was lovely.
An excellent place for sport. We hired a table tennis table and it was good value. The food in the Wheelbarrow Cafe is excellent. My daughter plays netball there weekly.
Excellent place for Disability sports. A real pioneer in the NW.
Staff were really rude on call. I ranging asking for advised and she was not willing to help or answer questions. When asking her name she then put phone down on me. I rang back several times to have no answer. Absolutely shocked about the poor customer service provided by reception staff
Wheelbarrow restaurant did not disappoint. Went for the fish finger brioche, lovely fish light batter cooked to perfection. Coffee good. Menu is small but that may get developed however I would sooner go for small and excellent over a larger menu and just ok. Good portions Little picky points Always ask your customers do they want condiments not other way about Had to ask for our portion of chips Overall excellent
I just called to ask about badminton club for my 14 year old son. The woman on the phone said, "He can come at 2pm". I reminded her my son is 14 and at 2pm is at school. When she said he can come another time I asked her who he would be playing with. She said, "He can play by himself". Is this a joke? I am intrigued...... What are you actually doing for young teens?
All I can say is wow! The cafe here is new and it was just stunning! It had a beautiful rustic vibe with such lovely friendly attentive staff there. I'm going to be going back there just for the cafe as the food is just delicious. I highly recommend the cinnamon cake
