Amazing hostel pretty well located in Wood Green. So far one of the best On my opinion. Staff rather friendly, toilets and showers always clean. Respectful guest. A true joyful hostel. Totally recommended.Rooms: 5/5
A little gem in wood green. Let's face it, wood green does not have alot to offer but it's refreshing to have a quality restaurant that does not deep fry everything! Service was great. Staff were polite, helpful with choosing from the menu & quick service even during peak time. The food was incredible. Tasty & full of flavour. Lots of veggie & vegan options & very reasonable price. Would recommend & return Food & drinks: See above
I love this place, as it is has a really cool lounge area in the ground floor area with one of the best restaurants in the area & a beautiful garden seating area out back which is nice in warmer climes. However last week a had a terrible experience when trying to get a coffee. It was atrocious!! It was flatly one of the worst coffees I've ever had the misfortune to have. £3.30 absolutely not justified for Burning hot scummy bath water with no love in it whatsoever. The thing is they could train the staff for free from the coffee supplier. Not to mention the very unwelcoming receptionist fellow thought he could chime in & tell me my complaint was not a valid one, when he clearly has never steamed milk in his life. Wouldn't take much to sort this problem. If you're going to charge artisan prices then your product must be on point. As I work in the industry I find this sort of experience very disappointing & frustrating.
Karim, is a really respectful guy and he is friendly. This is my second time staying at Green Rooms and I am really pleased with the service. I would recommend it to anyone. Attitude is key, he treats me with respect unlike other places. Well done
Stayed just the one night with my son as we were attending the Alexandra Palace for the darts and found this little gem of a place. Rooms are basic enough but we didn't spend much time there just to sleep. On arrival 12pm we were given our room early which we didn't expect but they went out of their way to do it The night porter Karim is an absolute gentlemen, there was nothing that he couldn't do for us Location is amazing, on the door of the nearest tube, and a 15 min walk from the Ally Pally
Stayed here for 2 nights and both mornings have been woken up by very loud maintenence work right outside of our door at 7:40.We tried to check in at 2 which is the expected time but we got told our room wouldn't be ready for an hour. Staff are all very unwelcoming. The latest you can get back to your room is 12 and we turned up at 11:46 to see the main door had been locked, luckily there was still a man in there to let us in. Got put In a studio which had some very unsafe stairs so I'd you're a bit older make sure to let them know.
+ hapily surprised by the cleanliness. The hallways are neat and clean and smell very nice. The whole building is well remodeled. + beautiful cafe/restaurant in the entrance. Seems like they make very nice food. + very cute little bedroom. Very simple but nice. + cool style in the shared bathroom, clean. - bed pretty small for 2 people who are not a couple but still ok. - you have to constantly press the button in the shower for the water to flow. Good for the environnement though. - little bit noisy + good value for money
We paid for a suite room which was really cold as the windows were old and couldn’t close properly. It was really loud, you could hear everything from the street and the next rooms, steps from the upper floor. Also even though it says on the website that they have breakfast it’s not the case! They do not offer any breakfast, which for us was important for booking the hotel. The staff was friendly but the management should reconsider the quality of hospitality they offer to the guests. I would not book again.
Today is 14 feb. I am with my wife book this hotel. Very worst experience. We were very tired but can't sleep because of noise and uncomfortable small bed. I don't think so this is a hotel for sleep.i don't understand 95£ I pay for what, just waste my money. Cannot suggest that hotel for family 2am right now but couldn't sleep. Am trying to sleep from 11pm but anyway it was very bad experience. Don't book that hotel
Great for one night post an arsenal game with friends. Beds are comfortable! Lots of street noise can be heard- so bring ear plugs
