Story

Built in 1582 and set in the beautiful Waterlow Park, Lauderdale House now runs primarily as an arts and education centre, welcoming over 65,000 visitors each year. Our varied programme includes performances, exhibitions, classes and events as well as weddings, parties and receptions, which together bring this historic building to life. There is also a lively restaurant offering delicious modern British cuisine, tea, coffee, cakes and snacks throughout the week (excluding Mondays).

No gallery but food was great at the cafe and the park is lovely although not that big. Great for an afternoon walk during these testing times

Very nice cafe with above average offerings, having tried sandwiches and empanadas. The wonderfully spiced winter warmer concoction lives up to its name. Helpful staff.
