Staff was a little not so friendly to be honest. The lemonade I got was below average, especially for the price. The seating is comfy and very beautiful though. Nice outdoor area with fresh air and the occasional passing car. Good for casual drinks.
Went here for a quick dinner before heading for the airport. I was very disappointed! Service - our waiter was nowhere to be seen most of the time. We had no idea how to pay, and after waiting quite some time for a bill we just went to the bartender… he also appeared to have a cold or covid while serving us. Drinks - water glasses were extremely small and due to the service issues mentioned above, they were never refilled. Food - the chicken mushroom pie was incredibly bland. The burger was alright but the bottle of ketchup provided for the chips was completely empty. Positives - the restaurant was clean and the food came out quickly.
Staff were brilliant Taha was so lovely he took a few photos of us and nothing was to much trouble ..the afternoon tea qas so tasty and very cute we wasn't rushed at all..the surroundings were very pleasant with some background music we would definitely go back
Such a lovely venue with great decor and a large outdoor space. The service was good and efficient and the food was delicious. We had a three course bottomless brunch which wasn't exactly bottomless, but we still had a sufficient amount of prosecco! through a Wowcher deal so I wasn't expecting too much, but I was thoroughly impressed! The portions were not overwhelming, but we both left feeling suitably full and satisfied. Would definitely be back here!
We booked and Afternoon Tea for two at the DoubleTree and it was a very pleasant afternoon. The selection on the platter was varied, the cakes and the sandwiches were very good and the environment at the cafe was nice and relaxed. We will definitely try and go back if we can.
I highly recommend. We stayed at the Doubletree and ate breakfast here for a week. The food is delicious but the staff is what really makes the experience special. Each employee provides outstanding customer service, every single day. Thank you for a wonderful breakfast and cheery smiles to start each day!
2.5/5 Very nice decorated, nice lighting, nice chairs and so on. Food was okay, but nothing special. The staff seemed uncoordinated, and didn’t offer much service, talked to us 2 times, once when we was ordering at the bar, and once more asking us what we wanted after we had already ordered. Still took a 20% tip on the receipt‍
Had a Christmas function for work on a Saturday night. A choice of meals available. The Christmas dinner was served in one hit. No extra vegetables or gravy brought out. The turkey was a turkey roll, sliced. The 'function area's was the hotel breakfast area. The bar prices appeared to be made up each time I returned to the bar for the SAME drinks. A very mediocre night, not worth the money.
Not a nice place for an afternoon tea, feels like a canteen. Advertised with garden views but you only can see the street. Staff took then over 5 minutes to approach us to offer us a table.Food: 3/5
Polite but poor service. Booked afternoon tea using Fork App but the Cafe had no record of it. Staff did their best but were very stressed. We were told to sit anywhere and after 10 mins we asked for some water which arrived about 10 mins later, warm. The sandwiches came out about 30 mins later. The scones came with a tiny pot of jam for 2 people so we asked for more. After we had finished eating we asked if we could have the tea. This arrived later again and we had to chase for cups, milk and sugar. We asked them to remove the service charge which they graciously did.
