My experience started pleasantly with the kind shuttle driver, Trev. Nevertheless, it's safe to say that my day was dampened when we actually got there.nnMy family initially booked for a medium-sized car that could fit 2 full-sized suitcases, but, when we got there, they told us we could either take a smaller car that couldn't fit the suitcases or a massive 7-seater van, something which gave the illusion of a choice even though one of them wasn't even a possible option.nnAdditionally, we were told we had to pay an additional 800-900£ insurance despite having already paid for a full coverage insurance via economy bookings. Luckily, we managed to get it down to 400£, but it's still a hefty price.nnDuring this whole experience the staff's attitude was impassive and not helpful in the slightest even when we found out that the interior of the car was disgusting something which I'm assuming is due to them not cleaning the inside after every rental, having things like bloodstains on the floor and mysterious stains on the seats, and that the entertainment system wasn't working which made us have to buy a mobile car support after 2 hours of me having to hold the phone up for my mother to see where we had to go.nnWe were not pleased in the slightest to say the least and so we sent an email to the company, which finally received a response 6 days later. And, when we went to drop off the car, the worker who attended us in the beginning mentioned the email in a bit of a hostile manner and told us that we had got him into trouble.nnAll in all, I wouldn't recommend this company and my family will not be booking with them again.
Their policy is to take pics for the evidences of any damages of the vehicle.nWhen we rent it was dark so nothing is visible on the body…nWhen I returned the rental car one of their staff checked physically and found some minor scratches on the body then asked me if I took pics of them. I said no then I explained it was dark so see any scratches. They said to me that next day morning I should have checked again and took pics. The origins of the rental place was Heathrow airport and guy there didn’t mention it was okay next morning to take pics… anyhow this company charged me roughly 1,500 ponds straight way!!nBelieve me or not I did not make any damage like that.nI felt that was setup by this rental car company tho.nCheaper is not always right things. I’ve got another leaning by this experience.nReminding me a bad memory of this UK trip…. Never ever come back!!
Hello ,nI've tried many different car rental companies in Europe and the UK, and I haven't found anything better than this one. The cars are new and clean, the reception is more than wonderful, the services are numerous, and the staff are incredibly friendly and make you feel safe. The prices are reasonable. I dealt with an energetic and cheerful employee whose name, if I remember correctly, was Malik. I'd like to thank him and wish him continued success. You certainly deserve more than five stars.
First time I had used Green Motion. Best rental experience ever. Staff were efficient and professional. The vehicle was clean and well maintained. They were short of vehicles when I arrived and I opted for a peugeot which was smaller than I wanted. That said the car was great to drive and well cared for. I've traveled to the UK 5 times in the last 5 years to see elderly parents and it hasn't always been a positive experience. This was by far the best rental experience I have ever had. Quick, professional and seamless on pick up and return and a car that was new and great to drive. I recommend Green Motion and they will be my go to on future trips.
We rented a small car and ended up upgrading to a larger vehicle owing to the sub-zero temperatures and long journey required with Malik who was very helpful, he got us a good deal on the vehicle. They have an excellent range of vehicles to chose from in great condition and well looked after vehicles. The whole experience was so good that we ended up cancelling a later rental with Avis for soon after this one and cancelled it to re-book with Green Motion. Very fair, very honest and a very enjoyable experience all round which is something I’ve almost never said of a car rental company. Would absolutely recommend both Malik and Green Motion and will be using them again.
