What is special about this park. 1. The benches to sit and reflect in a chaotic city. 2. The squirrels that make it home. 3. The beautiful walkways and lamps in the evening. 4. The giant, beautiful trees. Among many other reasons to like this park.
Home to my old alma mater - the School of Oriental and African Studies - it was nice to wander around the square which now contains lots of information about some of the famous residents who lived there: Virginia Woolf et al. Just outside the square is one of the few remaining Hackney cab shelters. It's now a coffee shop selling good coffee. As it was a nice day, there were quite a lot of people relaxing on the grass.
Lovely park to have a stroll. It's a nice litte green space that brings some nature in the city.
The nice little park in the middle of the city that is square in shape and it has many pathways symmetrically designed for you to randomly walk around. it has a cafe with Italian coffee and sandwiches. it is also a good location for you to walk your dog or have a family picnic
I love this area of London. Right in the centre of Russell Square is the green leafy park. It's an oasis in a busy area. Dog friendly, benches, a cafe and with a nice vibe.
Fast, easy, convenient underground station with good food options outside. Workers were helpful and friendly in the station as well.
Russell Square is a tranquil park near Russell Square and Holborn underground stations. Cafes, restaurants and hotels surround it. The park has plenty of benches and a cafe. There are plenty of open spaces to relax if the weather is good. During the weekdays it can be very busy if the day is nice. The weekends are less busy. It is a nice park to visit when in the area, but not essential to visit.
Lovely park with lots of green. Peaceful, nice to just walk around or sit and relax. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs and they are welcome to walk around on grass careful with the flower beds though!.
Visited this London shopping area with family. All branded shops/ showrooms. convenient to reach by city bus or underground railway.
Excellent location. Close to main attractions in London and a direct metro line to Heathrow
