Very nice and clean restaurant, greeted by a warm welcome and was explained how to order using the table tablet. Food was served very fresh & hot, excellent burger. Staff are very friendly. Only issue is, toilets are upstairs and it’s like a maze finding it, black painted walls and colour make it’s dark.
Went there on a lunchtime. You get a tablet per table which make it very easy to place an order and pay. We waited around ~15 minutes to receive our order. Place is clean, staff is friendly. The food is good. It’s a great money/ portion ratio.Food: 5/5
I enjoyed my time here, I had an amazing burger with so.e fries and chicken wings and a drink. Situated in the Brindley area in Birmingham, close to the canal. Food is great, staff was very decent and polite. They have a self service system wherein you can ordee and pay for your food from the comfort of your table. Toilets are clean and tidy, if pressed you'll need to walk faster cuz it takes more than 2 minutes to get there. They are located upstairs. They also have an outdoor sitting area where you can have you food while looking at the canal or just enjoying the atmosphere of being outside. Overall I'll highly recommend this place.
Popped in for a pre-cinema bit of Tea. Sat indoors and sat comfortably. The tables have these devices on them which are essentially a self order system- so you don’t have to move. We spent a few minutes choosing what we wanted and the device crashed. The staff took the device away, put the order through the till and I had to pay at the till rather than at my table- this was the WiFi apparently, which didn’t want to work that day. The pdq asked me for a tip- after being in the restaurant for five mins you want a tip? That’s not quite well timed is it? I found this annoying. The food arrived after 20 mins and my salad was small and a little bit of chicken on it, the chips were nice and my chicken tenders all three of them were fine. They came with sauces and they tasted fine. The drinks were ok, all bottled. We’re talking £50 for two mains, two sides and three drinks- not cheap but not enough food for the money, in my opinion. My partner had a burger and he was happy enough, he enjoyed his onion rings mostly. This is my first time here and considering the prime location and the word ‘Gourmet’, is this giving me a reason to come back? Not really. Was the food great? It was the same as Nando’s to be honest. Vegetarian options: They do have veggie options, the burger was tasty.
Very below average food, nice chilled atmosphere, but I’m there for the food. Slow service too considering how quiet the restaurant was. Small burgers, left hungry. Found the chips really dry too. For the price you can’t include any sauces apart from ketchup and mayo? £1 extra for sauces? Everything seems to be an add on these days… where’s the customer satisfaction? So much better burgers out there for your buck. Just purely focused on profits.. will I return again? Probably not.
Had a lovely lunch here before visiting the Sea Life Centre. The menu is a little limited but there are decent customisation options. Ordering is by app or going up to the counter. This meant that the service was not great. I tried to catch a waitress to get salt and they didn't even look towards our table for a good few minutes. We got our own in the end. The food was pretty good and we enjoyed it. The only caveat being that the skinny fries are more grated potato than fries but that's on us for ordering them. If you don't mind it being very do it yourself, this is a good restaurant but not a good place if you like to have a more attentive service.
I ordered the standard cheese burger and fries, ordered using the table app, which was very novel, and I needed a little help to pay on. The burger was nice enough but nothing special and definitely not worth the price, five-guys will give you more value for your money. It may have been a quiet evening, but there were only 3 tables occupied compared to the businesses around being packed. Service was good and very helpful when I needed it. My rating is heavily based on the value for money.
Overall very deceiving place. Low amount of food for the money spent photos below, the burger was very small and overcooked and the fries were undercooked. Overall £12 spent and an half empty stomach ... The second burger mighty something, £13,95 was supposed to be "medium rare" but came burned. I would strongly advise against eating here as there are loads of better places where you can eat more for less.
My partner and I went out for drinks and we decided to stop by for dinner. We both love burgers and we both went for the classic ones. Our lovely waitress Nicole recommended me to go for the blue cheese as I am a cheese lover and I changed my mind. Both were delicious with a side or truffle fries, my favourites Nicole, thank you for your suggestion and for your lovely service. It’s nice to go to a nice restaurant but superb when being served by people like Nicole. You deserve a promotion!
We visited Saturday before a show, and the place was packed. We had to wait a bit at the door, but the curly hostess, that seems to be also one of the managers, tried to sort us a table very quickly, despite clearly the place was understaffed. Food came out surprisingly quite quickly considering how busy it was and was great. One of the best vegan bean burger I personally ever had, we will definitely visit again if we will have chance.
