Having recently laughed at the expense of a neighbour who had a nasty experience at the Golden Valley with a big, fat bluebottle fly mixed in with his fried rice, we collectively decided not to use the Golden Valley anymore. Admittedly the place is shadow of it's former self - grubby, greasy looking, dirty floors, poor ripped seats, and a reception desk that can only be described as "sticky". Foolishly, and in a rush after baking some chicken strips, realising I had no dips I elected to go to the Golden Valley knowing full well of the incident of my neighbour and putting it down to a one off. When I got my Sweet and Sour sauce home, upon opening the lid I discovered a nice black splodge within the opaque sauce - only to realise that I too had indeed got a fly in my takeaway. I seriously think that the Golden Valley needs not only a face lift and some hygiene standards - but to be honest I think it is way past this now. Demolition appears to be the best option. I would say to anyone looking to buy from here - AVOID. Your health is more important.
Ordered food last night 22nd April and was c**p had a curry which was watery and no taste to it put that in the bin chips were dried out and the rest was no better never going back there went there as new lucky house was shut which is the best in the area. You have been warned do not go there don't waste your money
all well and good starting a delivery service. but they only deliver local. I'm 2.1 miles away and they wouldn't deliver. not impressed. they turned away £70 order. because of this.
This was our 1st time after visiting family we went to Kams palace but could not get a table so tried this and what a lovely meal well worth the money and nice food and clean and nice Manner's by staff bad bit was they don't do delivery but our order was ready for us as we walked in will use them more Pete from Scotland
Council food hygiene rating 2 out of 5 , ask for the certificate they have to show you if you ask, a look through the door into the kitchen might give you a clue
Delicious Chinese - worth getting in the car and picking up. Always had a great meal, nothing full of MSG.
Great food with good size portion s.
