Love it here! The food is fantastic, reasonably priced, much better than your usual "pub grub". Try the nachos, they're awesome. Drinks are reasonably priced too, friendly staff and great garden area. Dogs are also allowed in too!
Super service and a nice relaxed setting. I would take off half a star for the limited gluten free options but not a whole star as in general Darwins is definitely worth a visit and I will be returning. Plenty of space to social distance too.
Booked for a post walk lunch after exploring a very muddy soggy elvaston castle nearby. Had the three course dinner for £20 which was amazing value - I chose sticky chicken wings, braised beef and then apple crumble with a coke - great friendly service in a beautiful place with tasty food.
This place was recommended for the amazing food and it didnt disappoint! The food was stunning and really well priced too, table staff were attentive and polite. The decoration inside and out is nicely done and makes the whole vist more interesting. Would highly recommend and will definitely go back.
Just had a pork chop roast dinner and it genuinely exceeded my expectations. Beautifully cooked with great flavours.
