When we walked in we was welcomed with a smile and asked how they can help, we had already made an appointment to see a man called Steve. While we was waiting (as we was a little early) we looked around, we was offered a drink and the other staff members made sure we was ok and had all we needed. Once Steve was available we talked the relevant talk and he was ever so helpful in every single way. I had everything made clear to me, all my questions were answered and I was very happy with my whole time spent there, and left very happy with my new purchase. All the staff  members were polite, smart and helpful and Steve (the man who helped us) was just brilliant. Thanks again :)

I had to order a spare part for my age old car ( a 20 year old Daewoo Lanos) I dealt with Chris  in the parts/service dept. He was efficient and courteous, and the part was there two days later. Well done!

Appalling service department. I booked a Combo van in for a colleague which had emissions light on and a smell of fumes in the cab. He dropped it off at 8am and asked for it to be kept mobile as it was needed by 5pm for him to go home in. At gone 3pm my colleague called me. He had tried 3 times to phone the garage and was on hold for ages every time. When he eventually got through the van wasn't ready and they didn't know if it would be by 5pm.  I called Go Vauxhall to see what was happening and waited a totally unacceptable amount of time to get through to the service department. I reiterated that the vehicle was needed by 5pm. I was told they would change the oil & oil filter and this would be £159. When I said that I could get a service cheaper I was told, well that's basically all you get in a service anyway !  There was also a diagnostic and regeneration charge.  I said that in normal circumstances I would like to look a bit further into the repair being carried out but as I had already waited ages to get through on the phone and daren't risk things going on any later I now had no choice but to get it done as I needed to get my colleague home. I gave my card details and asked for the invoice to be e-mailed to me, it never arrived and when I phoned back today  I was told that they hadn't made a note of my email address.  I worked  in a commercial vehicle workshop for 20 years and have never come across such poor service as this. Total charge was eventually £366 after being given discount. Perhaps if I hadn't known what I was talking about I wouldn't have got the discount. The only reason I give one star is that when I phoned back for my invoice the gentleman on the phone got it sorted straight away.
