Had a Sunday lunch, had to ask for a steak knife to cut the beef because it was that tough, and my 3 year old granddaughter nearly choked as she could not chew it.I also heard other people asking for steak knives after I asked. The roast potatoes where burnt and hard. Only consolation was they did not charge for the meal after I complained.

Food brilliant and plenty of it. Beautiful place and a lovely setting opposite the canal. There is an ample beer garden with swings and slides etc for the little ones. Ample car parking and the staff are friendly. A must to visit.

Lovely place. Great Sunday lunch and plenty of it. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be going there again.

My booking got canceled by the staff at 5:00pm, just as I was hiking my way there. The staff said it was a plumping issue but did not try to come up with any solution or re-accommodation. I had to book another place myself at the very last minute in the middle of nowhere. It was certainly NOT a pleasant communication.

Four stars because availability of gluten free options is sometimes patchy resulting in hungry children. Otherwise friendly staff, warm welcome, huge portions, great location.
