We met family in the park and made the most of two of the playgrounds. The larger slides were a huge hit with the kids of all ages. There were a couple of picnic tables, which worked well for a visit. There was also a small cafe, which served a selection of hot and cold foods.nWe really liked the bike cycle hire that was available, which is part of a small charity, also teaching children to cycle if they don't have access to their own bikes.
We traveled from Canada and, on our last night in beautiful Scotland, we went to a Hozier concert at Glasgow Green.nEvery single staff member and every concession stand servers were amazing! So friendly and helpful.nThe arena itself was lovely. So clean and I like that there are different areas so you could choose how close you wanted to get to the main stage. We preferred to sit on the large grassy hill just outside of the standing room only main area.nLoved the concert and the venue!
It is a lovely, expansive park in the heart of Glasgow. It’s a great spot for relaxing, picnicking, or enjoying a stroll. The park features beautiful green spaces, historic monuments, and walking paths, making it a pleasant escape from the city hustle.
Best place to visit with friends and family. Nice view of river , and old bridge.
It is a large park, beautiful and full of landscapes perfect for photos. I believe that on hot days it is also possible to stay on the grass and have a picnic. I recommend the visit and a walk without haste.
