Nice and clean, friendly staff and good food, pity still saw someone enter without a mask despite big sign on door, never saw them challenged. All in all a nice place to be and apart from my comment above you feel very safe in there
Strange decor mix in this busy pub near the bus station - beams, anaglypta, brickwork, wood paneling but somehow it works. Nice fireplace for a cold day. Large seating area outside. Extensive pub grub menu £10 range. Pint of Fosters £3.90
Fantastic value for money with excellent food, such a big portion I couldn't finish it all. Glutten free meals. Friendly welcoming staff. We have lived on the island for 15 years and never ventured in, so glad we did today as it is now on our list of places to regularly visit.
The landlord and his staff were friendly and welcoming, the service was very good I had a carvery it one of the best I have had I will definitely go back.
Good food and service
Very nice Sunday Roast great place to stop here for a lunch. Generous portions, good price, delicious food, very friendly service and atmosphere. Nice beers too.
Dropped in for some lunch and a great selection of hot cooked food on offer.. Great welcome from a very helpful member of staff. Would throughly recommend and will call in again when in Newport...Great service
Best pub on the isle of wight and Bob and family are brilliant
