Stopped off here en route to Lincoln, highly recommended, beautiful country pub with very friendly barstaff, great beer and good food. I had a pint of Nethergate Suffolk bitter and the chile con carne, not the biggest portion but delicious, great chips too, the ale was in top condition.

Went for a skittles match. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Good company and a good game, though we lost, it was still enjoyable :)

The food is beautiful.  The beer is fantastic.  The setting is lovely. The open Mic nights are great fun with some amazing talent

A fantastic, cosy, village pub with selection of real ale and good food.  There are events on all year round and you always get a warm welcome. Well worth visiting.
