Story

Our friendly pub and restaurant at the heart of Towcester is open all day, seven days a week, & is dedicated to providing our guests with great quality food and drink. All of this provided in an informal setting in this traditional pub, located in the heart of Towcester. The bar features all the usual favourites and a substantial wine list, with at least twelve wines available by the glass. Our food is a mix of pub favourites and A la carte dining with medditeranean influences. We serve food throughout the day in the restaurant, bar and garden - if the weathers fine! Booking is recommended at busy times

First time experience at The Bull. I believe its now under new management and we decided to try the Sunday carvery.  We were not disappointed. Friendly staff who explained everything and served with a smile.  The food was very generous and very tasty. We will definitely return again for this delicious feast. Carvery is served 7 days a week. It will not disappoint you.

The Bull is under new management so we popped in for lunch to check it out. What can I say Chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich was amazing and the chips that came with it were to die for.nnHighly recommended well worth a visit.

We stopped here on a long road trip between Yorkshire and Dorset with a 4 year old just in time for tea. We are always reluctant to go for McDonald's/KFC on route because our son hates chips and always asks for veg. I did a bit of googling and The Bull popped up as doing a carvery everyday. I was surprised when I walked in, it was very very quiet and on a Friday night too. I was very pleased to hear the carvery was still on and after I finalised my order, realised a fresh dinner was only going to be £22 all in including drinks.nThere was a choice of three meats which all looked very appealing. I opted for beef which was succulent and juicy, and a nice pink in the middle just as it should be, and was given a good range of accompanying dishes. The cauliflower cheese stood out and was delicious. As well as the best Yorkshire Puddings I have seen outside of Yorkshire. I should know as a Yorkshire Lass!nWould definitely recommend a visit for dinner. Very reasonably priced for the quality on offer.

My son and I had a lovely meal here. Staff were very attentive, good portion size for children and great value for all food.  My son absolutely loved the bouncy castle and play area...

We had a lovely carvery at the bull there was a good choice of meat and plenty off vegetables. All cooked to a great standard. Was disappointed that there was no ros'e wine, or no alcohol free beer. Also the pub only had one wine glass in the whole of the pub. Which ment I had to have my wine in a big gin glass, which make the wine taste different. The gentleman that carved the meat was very friendly and chatty, but the rest of the bar staff were very quiet and didn't seem to know what they were doing. But overall we had a lovely meal and time. Would go again.
