Definitely is an excellent stop going or coming back from the Canons Ashby's state. If your rout drives you through Towcester, stop by this pub.nWe wanted a place for getting food and drinks, and we arrived here following other users recommendations.nWe found a good place for that and more. It's enjoyable the atmosphere with dynamic music but with a pleasant volume to talk and enjoy a meeting with family and friends.nIt was great watching rugby matches on the screens as well!nFood had an awesome flavour! Our compliments to the chef!nThe best was the staff service. They are truly nice and constantly come around to see if you have needs. Thank you people!
Very lovely and cosy place, nice food, polite stuff. Dogs are welcome.
A lovely pub in Towcester. With options of indoor or outdoor seatings in their big garden at the back.nnStaff were very friendly, acccomodating and the service was reasonably fast.nnThe food we had were good and reasonably priced.nnGive this place a go if you are in town.
All of the food was very bland, except for one of the dipping sauces. Really expensive for what we got. Quite disappointed
Affordable food in a nice setting within the town centre of Towecester. The food was pretty awful which we waited 45-50 minutes for, and I overheard others waited over an hour when they asked the kitchen for an update. The buttermilk chicken was fine but this isn’t difficult to make.nnI appreciate the poor staff had to work on New Years Day, but I think they shouldn’t be open and allow people to rest to prevent an unpleasant experience. We saw plates on plates of food ready to go to tables but senior aged staff were stood by it with their arms crossed.nnThe men’s toilet had no soap which is absurd given the majority of food can involve eating with your hands.nnThis place does have potential, they just need to serve good food with better quality ingredients and get it to the tables asap
