I went to visit Barry at Gem World Jewellers and couldn't have been happier with the service. Found the perfect diamond for my girlfriend and Barry was pleased to help me find the right setting for it. He spent time showing me lots of different styles to make the perfect engagement ring. Gem World Jewellers are competitive with price and the customer service was great. Barry was willing to stay on an hour longer for me to come from work to collect the ring.  I would strongly recommended heading over to Gem World Jewellers if you need help and advice. Barry's knowledge and experience is second to none. We will most certainly be returning to purchase our wedding bands. Thanks again for all your help.

I really can't understand the post about the poor Gem World service that the customer experienced. In all the times I have visited the shop, the manager has always gone out of his way to provide a top class service, whether it for just a small jewellery repair, or guidance and advice over a larger purchase. All that, coupled with prices that never seem over-inflated unlike other jewellery outlets, would make Gem World my first port of call for any future purchase. Also, if you want something a little more different, and at the right price, in my view, this is the place to try first. Quite unique really!

I've been using gem world jewellers for the past 10 years and wouldn't use anybody else. 
They always take the time to source me the the best quality materials , he also offers an incredible repair and alteration service which I've used on a sporadic basis and have been incredibly pleased with the results, they truly are creative artists and take pride in their work. I would highly recommend as they always deliver.

Popped in to enquire about costs for resizing a ring, the gentleman who served me was condescending and rude. He claimed if we need to ask about price then this was not the place for us. Nonetheless he gave us a quote and talked about the quality of their work and how it would be well worth the extra money to go with them. Despite our reservations with his manner we opted to return to him, so checked online to see when his store closed and it says 4.30, so we arrived about 4.10 to see him inside closing up. With no sign on the front to say their opening hours we tried to get his attention to ask when they open in the morning and to point out online says 4.30 closure. Instead of politely opening the door and helping us with this simple question, he just pointed to a sign which said closed and refused to have any more contact with us. Absolutely awful experience. No people skills, and a wonder that a business which seemed so willing to turn work away can afford to continue. I'd avoid at all cost.
