Fantastic accommodation, we've been there twice and planning to go again. Beautifully maintained cottages, well equipped. Nice view of the surrounding mountains, fresh air and easy access from the main road. Would recommend.
Highly recommended stopping here! we stopped for 4 nights in y dowlod which sleeps 2 it's cosy and modern while still keeping some of its rustic charm. it has got a fully fitted kitchen with everything you need. location is perfect if you want to hit the trails at coed y brenin only a mile ride straight from the door step. we will definitely be returning
Exceptional place to stay. The cottage was awesome, with so many great touches. It was brilliantly thought through and executed. Milk in the fridge shower gel high quality tv underfloor heating secure bike storage The list goes on and on. More than that though was the amazing welcome and advice. There is so much to see and do nearby it's brilliant having some guidance. Awesome place that I can't hesitate to recommend. Will be coming back.
A wonderfully relaxing week in a stunning cottage with very welcoming hosts. Highly recommended
We have just returned home from a great weekend break away for our wedding anniversary we stayed in y dowlod which was a cosy little apartment in the roof space. Perfect to come back to after being out on the bikes all day. The rooms were spotless and felt really homely. The owners Rhys & Gwyneth were very friendly and was happy to assist in anything we needed. We will not hesitate to return again and the icing on the cake was the Welsh Bara brith to come back to with a cuppa tea!
Beautiful well thought out self catering and BnB. Highly recommend especially if you're a MTB rider as straight on to the trails.
My son and wife stayed here twice. Liked it. Very close to Coed y Brenin mountain biking.
Great place to have some rest in Wales. It's very close to Zip World, Portmeirion and at the same time it's in the very heart of Snowdonia.
Rhys and his family were very accommodating. Great location and views. Will definitely call again.
