Very nice rooms, location and price, the bed was very comfortable and the hostess was welcoming. However the rooms were rather warm and we were suprised that they didn't serve dinner. Overall a good experience.
The first thing to understand about this hotel is that its primary function is not a hotel, it’s a respite home for mentally disabled adults, with a few room that are let out. Its usual guests and their carers are encouraged to eat and engage with other guests which can make it an interesting stay.nnAll the staff were lovely, although so I think are ex clients. And the room 10 was lovely & clean, very big but freezing cold when we got there. We ordered an extra large double bed but it was standard and the washing machine did kick in at about 0700, so no lie ins.nnAlso, with no breakfast included, this hotel was the most expensive break we had on a 3 night trip. Sorry guys, lovely location but not worth the money.
Amazing place to stay at. Nothing to complain the view the food and the staff just absolutely brilliant everything. Only stayed for 2 nights but can’t complain. The manager was lovely definitely will stay again.The learning differences people are lovely to have a talk with and the staff with them were very kind to them. Up the road on the left there’s a lovely path to go on a walk I’ve attached some photos below would definitely recommend staying here.We will come back.
I have stayed at this hotel at least four times now: twice for business and twice for pleasure. Every time my stay has been enjoyable and this is my go-to hotel for the Snowdonia area.nnFor motorcycles: no covered parking or ground anchors.nnPros:n- Amazing full Welsh breakfast that will keep you going until dinner time. Perfect for walkers, hikers and bikers needing fuel.n- Location is remote enough to enjoy gorgeous views, but still close enough to the major towns by car to get the essentials. The hotel is also in a quiet spot.n- Many great attractions, walking routes etc within 1 hr drive.n- Prices are often much cheaper than the alternatives in the bigger towns.n- Ample parking.n- Rooms are overall clean and of good quality.n- Staff are great.nnCons:n- I cannot really think of any tbh.
Amazing friendly service, stunning views and huge rooms, had a wonderful stay here on our walking holiday. They were serving evening meals after all, which was great as there aren't many options nearby. The recently refurbished bar is beautiful.
