We rented bikes from Gear Bikes for a five ferries cycling trip in August, I would highly recommend using them. Very reasonable prices, great communication and the bikes were in really good condition without any mechanical issues. Thanks again to Joe and the rest of Gear Bikes!
Nice, friendly shop. I reserved a rental bike for 3 days. It was ready when I arrived. Ian provided paneers, a helmet, lock, and toolkit. No hassles. I rode to Perth and back with no mechanical issues. I will rent from them again in the future!
We had a fantastic experience with gear bikes! We hired two bikes for a week long trip along the west coast. The bikes were great and equipped with everything we needed. The team at gear bikes were always available to answer any questions before and during the trip, and the process of picking them up and dropping them off couldn’t have been smoother. Highly recommend!!
Gear Bikes were incredibly good value for money, really friendly and made our cycle tour adventure more than possible. Would definitely recommend hiring bikes rather than bringing them with you if you’re travelling up to Scotland from England - so much easier!
Absolutely fantastic customer service experience! I was traveling from the USA and ordered a bike rental for the week in Glasgow. Pick-up and drop-off were seamless, and Joe the owner was awesome in helping me find the right bike with all the extra necessary gear to go with it. Excellent service!! Found this bike shop after recently relocating to Glasgow from London. The team were really helpful and friendly. Bike had a full service and update on parts. It was turned around quickly as needed bike and thought they were excellent value for money! Will be going back :
Amazing! Popped in on a Saturday afternoon to get my front derailleur fixed. They fixed it straight away & checked my breaks at the same time. In & out in 15 minutes, so friendly and amazing service!! Will be recommending to everyone!
Have been a customer at Gear Bikes for nearly 25 years! Bought my first proper bike from them and have used them for all my servicing work since. They have also done some great modification work to some old bikes. Top notch work. Joe and his team are so good to deal with. Great customer service and communication.
Took my bike in for a service, could see the shop was extremely busy yet they still made time for me. After a few days they sent clear details/prices for the work that was needing done. She's now running better than ever and I couldn't be any happier with the Quality and Professionalism of Gear Bikes.
