Received great service at Corner Bikes. Swapped my seat, fitted new handlebar mount and ergonomic grips. Upgraded my security plus an excellent set of lights. All of which has made a huge difference to my daily bike commute. Excellent advice and everything needed was already in stock. Recommend paying a visit...and defo get the ergonomic grips while you're there. Did I mention, there's great cycle parking too...
What a gem of a bike shop! Stephen came out to greet us so we didn’t even have to lock our bikes up. He adjusted my derailleur and got my gears shifting seamlessly again in no time. He also gave us some great tips for our tour to the Outer Hebrides! If I lived locally I’d come here for all of my bike needs :
Great shop - just what a local bike shop should be. I walked in with the dirty old rear wheel of my workaday bike hoping to get the cones tightened and expecting to come back in a week for it. Stephen took a look and did it right there and then! And he generously declined to charge me for doing it! Amazing service which made my day. Turned out we have the same surname slightly different spelling though I’m sure that had nothing to do with it. This could be my new first choice bike shop…and I’ve got seven bikes!
My sis and I flew out bikes NYC to Glasgow and her derailleur got a bit wonky in transit. I wound up missing a few screws on my rear rack. Stephen got us all sorted and gave us some good pointers and tips as well. An absolute gem.
Couldn’t be happier with the service from Stephen! Took my old bike down 30 year old death-trap and got walked through each model that would be a perfect upgrade for me, without being up-sold to a ridiculously priced thing. Left the same day on a swish new bike that feels absolutely spot on for my needs and a literal million times better. Service couldn’t have been any friendlier and attentive. 100% recommend for all bike related needs.
Went to corner bikes today on the off chance to see about replacing inner tubing was expected to be told to come back another time which would have been fine with me as it’s a busy wee place but the owner tended to it there and then which I was very happy with. Very professional service and was done very quickly. will be going there in future.
Fantastic bike shop. Stephen was super helpful, quick to do repairs and knowledgeable - he speedily fixed a friends bike that had been damaged during a flight squeezing us in on a busy day and I’ve been very happy with the fixed up old commuter that I bought. Cheers again!
Huge thanks to Steven for coming to my rescue today. Although it was quite late in the day and he clearly had other jobs to get on with, he cheerfully and quickly changed my punctured inner tube. A brilliant service - thank you!
Great customer service! I came in quite clueless about what I needed for my bike, Stephen was very knowledgeable and helpful. The pricing was fair and I’m very happy with my new tyres. Great chat, and I’ll definitely be back for for future repairs!
I took my 7 year old Trek Road bike to Corner Bikes for some advice and an overhaul. Steve was very helpful and talked through the options without any 'pressure' selling. We agreed on new wheels and a thorough service. I picked up the bike a week later and I am very pleased with the work done. It is like riding a new bike. Thanks so much and I would definitely recommend taking your bike to Steve.
