Was recommended Billy Bilsland Cycles for a new bike purchase and couldn’t have been happier with the whole experience when purchasing a Cervelo Caledonia 5. It’s very clear from the first visit that all the team are passionate about bikes and genuinely interested in making sure you end up with the right bike for you. There was never any sales pressure, just genuine advice from the nicest bunch of people. Everything was superb: from the opportunity to try out some bikes in Glasgow Green, to ordering the bike, the updates on the status of the order, the bike fit upon delivery and all the subsequent after sales visits. Seriously impressed. Also recommended to others who have also commented on the great service received. Big shout out in no particular order to Ryan, Josh, Sam, Neil, Barry and all the bike techs.
We needed a replacement for a rear wheel, which got badly damaged in a bike crash. It was already late Sunday afternoon but the Team at Billy Bills and Cycles was super nice and helpful and even replaced my wheel after the shop had already closed. We are traveling with our bikes through Scotland at the moment, so we needed the replacement as quickly as possible and had already checked six bike shops before Billy's. Billy's worked quickly and professionally and we are very thankful!
I have lost count of the number of bikes I have bought both from LBS and online direct sales. These guys top the lot. I was wanting a custom build and there were numerous changes to the spec along the way but nothing was too much trouble or an issue. Every staff member I dealt with were very warm, friendly and professional. They know their stuff. I am extremely impressed with my new Cervelo Soloist. Probably the happiest I have been with any bike purchase. . They really looked after me from the start to the finish of the journey and I will be recommending them to anyone looking for a new bike or any other bike related service.
Highly recommend. I received a full bike fit in store and was really impressed with the service. He took a lot of time to get my position optimised and answered alot of questions into the mix! Very happy with my experience. 10/10
Booked my online bought ebikes in for a safety check. Guys couldn't have been nicer. Got both bikes back next day and you can feel the difference .. gears, brakes, everything much better. Recommended
So I should have posted this earlier this year... Bought my first bike here Scott Addict after some expert guidance & fitting from Neil and the team. Went back in after a wee hiccup and got the *best* service, and what I needed to maintain it. There's simply no other place to go for a bike in Glasgow.
This shop was very helpful when four friends and I flew in to Glasgow for a 3-week bike packing trip. Despite being very busy they helped us with everything we needed including providing bike boxes and air. They even saved us a bunch of money when we were figuring out how to get our bike boxes to the airport by suggesting we take a taxi instead of another option that we had planned.
Recently made a purchase of a bike through these guys and had a fantastic experience. Couldnt do enough to help and gave me a great deal on the bike of interest, including a few extras too! The whole team were very happy to provide advice and chat bikes and made me feel very comfortable with my purchase throughout. Shiped the bike to me very swiftly and were very prompt with replying to emails/answering the many questions asked. Would highly recommend the service and wouldnt hesitate to come back. Thanks!
I was very impressed by the level of service I have received from this shop over the past few weeks- particularly with a bike fit I had on Saturday. Barry spent three hours with me setting up my bike for the perfect fit, and since then my knee pain and perrenial discomfort have basically gone away, and I am much faster on the bike. I was also given lots of advice on less related matters such as training and stretching, and had my head tube cut down and head tube bearings lubed for free. The attention to detail and commitment to getting the perfect fit was obvious, and the results have been gleefully enjoyed riding my bike since. I felt like they undercharged me for the excellent service and time I got out of my fit. If you need a bike fit- come here. These people know what they’re doing. Thanks guys!
best shop iv encountered in Glasgow. great advise and help in choosing recent new bike. they are always helpful and ready to answer questions and explain any doubts. highly recommend and very skilled in all bike areas. have used them over the years for general maintenance and service has been top level. very friendly and easy going bunch of people
