Story

As well as offering everything a great bike shop should at our stores in Glasgow & East Kilbride, we have our state of the art website where you can just pick up your bits & bobs or go the whole hog & buy your dream bike. All of our website enquiries are dealt with in a bespoke office within our warehouse near the Glasgow store, where we are fully focused on great customer service.

So if you need help or advice on any aspect of cycling, please son't hesitate to call us or drop us a line, we welcome all enquiries and our experienced staff are always happy to help.

At Dales Cycles we are premier dealers for Specialized bikes, Scott bikes and Giant bikes, we also have many brands online including Orbea bikes, Genesis Bikes, Ridgeback Bikes. We also carry a full range of kid's bikes from Specialized, Giant, Scott, Orbea and Ridgeback. Dales Cycles also have Scotland's only Specialized Retul BG-FIT studio, equipped with fully trained staff and all the Specialized body geometry accessories you may need to enhance your cycling experience.

At Dales Cycles we operate a customer visible, fully equipped modern workshop covering over 550 square feet, specifically designed for all levels of bicycle servicing. Being a Shimano service centre we carry a full range of spares and accessories to get you back on the road as soon as possible. We only use the best materials, tools and consumables from Park, VAR, Finish line, Pedros etc, you get the picture.
Dales employs three full-time mechanics who all hold the Cytec qualification, and who have over 60 years of combined technical knowledge. All Dales mechanics are qualified in the art of custom wheel building so if you pick the rim, hub and spokes we can build it. We can't think of a job we have ever turned away and we work very closely with all of our manufacturers to ensure fast turnaround on any recalls or warranty issues. Also we can facilitate the servicing of all makes of suspension forks and rear shocks.

Did you know you could be riding longer, and in greater comfort? The secret...Retul BG F.I.T the first totally integrated system for fitting bike to rider from the Specialized bicycle company & exclusive to Scotland at Dales Cycles.

BG F.I.T. Is part bike fit, part ergonomic geometry, and part components (including stems and saddles) that allow customization of your position to perfectly fit your bike. It's also partly the scientifically developed and proven Body Geometry shoes, shorts. gloves, and grips. Combined in the totally integrated system that is BG F.I.T., these elements will help you ride faster, longer, and in greater comfort.

The father of the BG F.I.T. effort, Andy Pruitt, the Director of the Boulder Center for Sports Medicine, has been helping cyclists ride better for more than 30 years and wrote the book on cycling dynamics "Andy Pruitt's Complete Medical Guide for Cyclists" Dr. Pruitt has broken BG F.I.T.'s Biomechanical Integration into a few basic principles.

The optimal fit enables a rider to get the most performance from her/his bike and body. Comfort, speed, and control can all be enhanced to ensure that whatever your objectives are, you will be better equipped to meet them… and with greater enjoyment. At Dales Cycles, we have made significant investments in training, facilities and equipment in order to assist you in arriving at your optimal fit. and are proud to be Scotland's first and only F.I.T. centre.
