Story

Welcome to Future Fitness Gym + Martials Arts, the best training gym in Glasgow's southside. Based in the heart of Shawlands we are a friendly local gym and pride ourselves on our customer service, willingness to help, good atmosphere and community spirit.

Future Fitness is an established local gym with cardio and weights zones including Cybex Eagle line, Reebok resistance equipment and Precor EFX trainers. We have a variety of fitness studio classes including Spin®, Circuits, Yoga, Ladies Lifting and Bootcamp.

Home to Future Fitness Martial Arts, a purpose built Mixed Martial Arts Studio (MMA) We have daily clases including Muay Thai, BJJ, Boxing and Strength and conditioning classes. This studio is also available for use when we have no classes on.

We have a Sauna and Steam room available and supply Spartan,Nutramino and Extreme Nutrition supplements, branded clothing and training accessories and pre workouts for your training or a tea and coffee for relaxation afterwards. Love this gym! Clean, lovely staff, a TON of equipment and rarely busy at the times I go after 7pm! so never any hanging around waiting to use anything. Only downside of going in the evenings is that I never get to see the FF family dogs that hang out at reception during the day

Best Gym in the southside of Glasgow if not Glasgow. Staff are all friendly, amazing and helpful. The staff on reception are so welcoming and obliging. Majority of the members are all great doing their own thing and helpful when needed. The kit is well maintained and top drawer.
Great equipment, nice staff. Only downside is the music is god awful. Motown isn't motivational to lift weights, guys. Some upbeat dance or techno wouldn't go a miss.
I've been a member of Future Fitness for about 18 months now. Was getting sick of the anonymity of the budget gyms and wanted to train in a more welcoming environment. I love this gym - the staff are always very friendly, and there's no shortage of great equipment. Since re-opening, health and safety is a top priority. Lots of changes have been put in place to ensure the gym is clean and safe. That was incredibly reassuring - I can now spent less time worrying about being in a public place, and focusing more of my energy on my workouts! Already looking forward to getting back in for my next session :
FRIENDLIEST GYM IN GLASGOW. I train here twice a week with emma and have the best time, all the staff are so helpful & lovely. The atmosphere is great and you don’t feel awkward or intimidated like most of the other gyms I have been to. Rustic but modern feel to it which is also great. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great gym in Glasgow

Best Gym I have been to in a long time. Massive range of equipment, very varied cardio equipment that I haven't come across in any other gym, staff on hand were really helpful to show me how to use any pieces aswell. They have a great downstairs Hammer Strength facility, there are so many machines that you'll never be waiting in a queue to use any unlike the 24hr gyms. Enjoyed a lovely sauna after my workout, there is also a steam room. I was shown their martial arts room also but didn't use, but definitely will be in next time to use the aqua bag. Staff were really friendly and couldn't be more helpful, thank you
Amazingly equipped gym, great atmosphere - you've got everyone from world class bodybuilders to everyday folks just looking to out time in after work. Brilliant staff. Highly recommended.
