We were very happy with our experience with Freeman Brothers, which we chose because there is a branch in the village where Mum lived. Our first enquiry was via the website; it's easy to navigate, and very clear about the choices and costs involved. We then met Martin Mitchell, the funeral director at Billingshurst, who made the whole process easy at a difficult time, and was a warm, discreet, and efficient presence on the day; we could focus on the funeral, and know we were in safe hands. We chose to use Hills Cemetery Chapel in Horsham, which is a lovely space, and perfect for our purposes. I am very grateful that we were able to give Mum a farewell that we feel happy about.

Martin Mitchell helped the whole process of organising my mum's funeral so much. From the initial telephone discussion through emails when i made my choices to the actual day, he was kind, considerate, helpful and professional throughout. Nothing was too much trouble and on the day itself everything ran smoothly and just as I had wanted. Choosing all the details including music and creating a slide show and the order of service was all done online and was really easy to do, no worries about technology, just a simple step by step process. It's such a stressful time, and Freeman's were able to remove part of that stress. I will always be grateful for Martin's help throughout and have no hesitation in recommending Freeman Brothers to anyone in the sad situation of needing to organise a funeral.

Martin at Freeman’s is lovely. He was extremely helpful and understanding with the arrangements for our father’s funeral and then interment of his ashes which was done at very short notice. All the arrangements were dealt with smoothly and no stress whatsoever for the family.

Martin from the Billingshurst branch couldn't have been more helpful at a very difficult time. Nothing was too much trouble and he made the whole process very straightforward, accommodating all the family's wishes. Communication was clear. I can't recommend him highly enough.
