Can't thank the team, they have been great. No hard sell, just very knowledgeable and helpful. Small bedroom looks great, having to do the upstairs in stages as carpets depending on other work going on. The team are so good, they are happy to go at my pace. Carpet and underlay so far brilliant.
I've had 2 bedrooms fitted and now had the lounge, dining room, stairs and landing fitted in a Highgrove carpet in goose Grey, plus an excellent quality underlay. It looks and feels fabulous. The fitters were obviously very skilled at their job as it was a big area to do and quite awkward in places. Can't fault their work, an excellent job done. Thank you. I highly recommend Frank's, Ashington for their top quality customer service and products and will definately get my next carpet or hard flooring from them. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
Normally I don't give bad reviews, but I felt this time I simply must tell others about my experience. I visited Franks in Ashington and picked a carpet and organised a measure, the estimator Sam came to my home and from the moment I met him he was condescending, I don't know if he was having a bad day but the way I was spoke to was not professional. It shouldn't matter if I pick a cheap or expensive carpet I should be treated with respect, and this is not what happened. He is not a good ambassador for your store and I purchased a carpet elsewhere.
Enough carpet left to do all the rooms again almost !!!! Not happy at all. Also the carpet fitters LEFT their rubbish which is going to cost us MORE to remove.
Bad company to deal with, customer service terrible, person who came out check sizes got the measurements wrong, no help dealing with it after, could never get hold of the Manager if there is one. If you are going to buy flooring don’t buy from Franks! I love carpets don’t they should say!

Carpet fitters were absolutely brilliant. I’ve just had the staircase professionally decorated and was a bit worried about the damage to the walls and gloss. They were exceptional wish I had their names. Had vinyl laid in the hallway and carpet up the stairs. I have a downstairs toilet and the vinyl goes seamlessly through from the hallway. Good job lads would highly recommend. My time in the shop was also first class can’t fault anything
Visited the shop in Ashington today for some artificial grass…. We were very impressed with the customer service from a lovely young lad named Nathan, he was very knowledgeable and accommodating…. Even tho we only spent a small amount of money today, we will definitely be back to purchase our hall and stair carpet. Someone give Nathan a gold star
Had massive dramas with Franks. 70 quid per square meter flooring bought and fitted by Franks. I complained on fitting for weeks getting palmed off. Flooring so bad it's coming up, complained on line, been in shop 3 times and rang chasing Up complaint, still no further forward. Absolutely terrible fitting and customer service. Fitter even had neck to say I'd altered flooring after he left. Franks came out and inspected my complaint and said it was embarrassing, yet weeks later I'm still chasing and nobody ever got back to me on any time I've complained. For a big firm this is absolutely unacceptable.
