Went to Foyles last night for some short drama by local amateurs and it was fantastic. The standard was amazing. I had to hold back the tears it was so moving. Well done to Foyles for staging this and an amazing well done to all those involved.

Maybe not the biggest bookshop. The prices are a little high. But with those negatives aside the place is wonderful. Whilst the prices are high you are supporting the fading bookshop, that is going the way of the record shop. Remember those? The shop itself is bright allowing you to read and browse easily. Better laid out and more will lit than Waterstones. In general a nice atmosphere to spend time in.  Staff do not jump on you looking for a sale and a cafe is situated inside. A lovely shop.

Really great selection of books and related items. Relaxing, calm atmosphere and very helpful and polite staff. Coffee and cakes are great too!
