Mid afternoon so no real atmosphere.. food was good..I had ribs and chicken combo.. altho it was cooked i felt the chicken could have used a minute in the oven to crisp it as it was watery as if nuked.. that being said it tasted fine.. the corn on cob was perfect the chips were perfect and the ribs tasty with a good amount of sauce on.. my wife had the full rack and enjoyed em to the last rib.. she also donated her corn on the cob to me so a win win....
Me and my family were served by Phil and he was great!! The food was outstanding lots of flavour and taste! We will definitely be back again! Thank you FOX HUNTERS for the amazing service and food!!Food: 5/5
My mum and I went for Monday lunch. Plenty of parking, short walk to entrance and the place wasn't at all busy at about 1pm. Had to search around a bit for a table as most were very high tables with the tall seats not all appropriate for a more elderly person, but we found one. Menu not very straight forward with loads of extra choices and pick 2 for this and 1 from this etc but we ended up with a 8oz sirloin steak with chips, peas, half a tomato and onions and 2 chicken skewers with salad and fries. My steak was as I'd asked for it and the chips were good. Not so keen on the onions which were very salty. My mum's chicken skewers were a bit chewy according to her. Portions were reasonable for the price and the staff were friendly and helpful. We were asked about any dietary requirements on ordering at the bar. We didn't wait long for the food but the pub wasn't exactly busy.
Lovely food. Reasonably priced .service quick. Staff lovely. Will certainly go back. Good portions. I had a skillet of gammon steak pineapple. Onions chips tomoto and peas . 2 guests has fish chips and peas. Wine was cheap. Coffee lovely.Food: 5/5
A good value pub with an extensive menu selection and tasty grub too! Seniors 2 course menu is only £4.99, two classic main courses for £10.99, kids/small appetites menu... friendly staff and excellent service. Will be back.
First time here, and I will definitely be back! I got the chick n mix, 2 roasted scewers, waffle fries and mac n cheese. Absolutely fabulous. My mother and sister both got burgers, and they were eaten too quickly for a photo. Lovely staff, and good prices.10/10 experience.Food: 5/5

Enjoyed a lovely evening at the Fox Hunters with friends who took us there and what a great evening we had. Food is excellent especially the Steak and Ale Pies which is a favourite of ours. Just a warning the Pies are LARGE and delicious. Excellent value for money and more than enough to eat. Staff are friendly and very welcoming. Parking: There is car parking at this venue Kid-friendliness: Children were welcomed. Wheelchair accessibility: I was able to take my mobility scooter right into the Fox Hunters as there is a concrete ramp that gives perfect access. Staff made room for my scooter so I could park it by the table and sit comfortably with the friends we were with. So friendly and helpful were the staff.
Wendy the waitress was amazing, happy to help, taking photos, cleaning, service ect 5 stars. Totally good night, till the quiz come on, as seeing family we haven't seen for years, same the quiz could be just in one part of the building. Disappointed in deserts not in a glass as described bowl instead of tall glass , I didn't get a spoon the offered a tea spoon for my pudding then after refusing it offered a soup spoon not the only one.
Fantastic food and very helpful staff. I forgot to order one meal for our table, they rushed it through kitchen and sorted it for us.Food: 5/5
