Nice pub. Good music for me playing. Went in for early light bite grub on a Friday 12:15 . Room to ourself at first start serving at 12:00 Nice young girl served us straight away. Me and wife had light bite fish and chips and gammon and chips. Pot of tea and a Latte. £17.45 Nov 2024 Chips were home cooked chunky chips. Fish and gammon was lovely. Just got to try Sunday Dinner which I've heard is nice.
We had the pleasure to have a festive night out at this amazing place. We had an incredible time filled with laughter and amazing food, all thanks to the fantastic Boarder Terrier! Thank you for making our evening unforgettable. The photos don’t do it justice great atmosphere, we will be back soon.Food: 5/5
Very lucky to have this as our local! Recently moved down the road so only been a handful of times but every time it’s been great. They serve delicious home cooked food at very reasonable prices and has a gluten free menu which is great! The Mother’s Day menu was great today and we got complimentary Buck’s Fizz and some chocolates. Such a lovely touch. Been to watch the match here a couple times too. Very friendly place, we will be back again soon!
Our Sunday lunch was fabulous and to top it off delish Apple Crumble and custard Food: 5/5
Good pub just a short drive in from the perimeter of the estate. If the bar is a bit noisy for you, there is a room at the back. Some outdoor seating, food available, car parkService: 5/5
Great afternoon here, had bar tab with made things easier. We both had pizza with a portion of home made chips,delicious. We couldn't finish pizza so we're given a box to take it home. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and nothing was a bother for them. We will definitely be back.

Sunday lunch my sister really enjoyed her meal I am vegetarian would have been nice to be offered a vegetarian option rather than just a plate of vegetables which I must say were all well cooked x Vegetarian options: Need a vegetarian option with Sunday lunch
Can't fault the service here especially given the current circumstances. Only called in for a quick drink and mainly because we had our border terriers with us. I guess it's probably not that odd to the owners though
Knowing their excellent reputation from a previous business we met up with friends here. As expected the food was fantastic, great quality, generous portions and well presented. Establishment is very clean and inviting as you would expect from great hosts. Despite living South of the Tyne the journey is well worth it. Can’t wait for the next visit.
