We went there for a drink and it was really lovely. Apparently it is one of the oldest bars in Tynemouth but newly renovated. It looks really good and the have a great selection of different drinks and beers. The toilets are also new and well kept. I can definitely recommend Cumberlands Arms Tynemouth for a drink.Food: 5/5
Excellent value x2 large fish and chips for £20. Good real ale and pleasant staff in a historic and characterful pub. The room was not warm enough though. Kid-friendliness: There was a baby and youngsters in the room and they seemed happy enough.
Nice little bar, Friendly Staff Ordered Beef Stottie, fresh and the homemade Roasties were delicious Apple Crumble dessert was one of the nicest Ive had.
Well we love what they have done with the place! The food and the beer was very good indeed! I remember going before the refit and it was a real spit and sawdust boozer! Now the place is clean, fresh with great lighting and seating and has a real cosy feel. Nice meal out and pleased that they do Beavertown! Good selection of bar snacks! Doesn’t take American Express.
Really hard to please but I was over the moon with the Beef dinner we had Sunday . Tender beef and proper roasties and big fluffy yorkie . Absolutely gorgeous ! Staff were so thoughtful with the small details too . It didn’t go unnoticed hence the review . Best in North Tyneside for sure well done lads !Food: 5/5
Had a complete refurb since we were last here many years ago. Sunday lunch was really nice. Good portion and well cooked. Veg a bit too al dente for my liking but that's a personal choice.Food: 4/5
It's the second time we have ordered Sunday lunch. The food is of top quality and always arrives hot, would definitely recommendFood: 5/5
Great atmosphere, very friendly. Food is good value, tastes is delicious. Highly recommended Food: 5/5
Have to admit this is my favourite pub in Tynemouth, good prices compared to other venues, the staff are fantastic and can be quite funny / have a good sense of humour - if you get to know them not had food there apart from a portion of chips but the food always looks and smells good.Service: 5/5
Decent place for a pint in the sunshine. Staff very friendly and comfortable spot to sit and chew the fat. Doesn't get too loud or busy.Service: 5/5
