Upon entering the restaurant was clean and well presented. Staff were welcoming. upon approaching a member of staff they were very helpful with allergen information, giving me a tablet to select allergens which showed me what was okay to order. There was a risk of cross contamination which I was made aware of upon ordering. Food came sizzling, well cooked, and was very tasty! The lemon in the chicken really came through. The vegetables had the right amount of bite. Very satisfying. Dietary restrictions: Very helpful when asking staff.
a family of 9 of us went for a birthday celebration. We all enjoyed our meals which were cooked to perfection. The landlady and the staff could not do enough for us, very pleasant ladies and made our night very enjoyable. We are planning on going again in a couple of weeks. The prices are also very reasonable. For a local pub you could not do better so thank you to all the staff for a lovely evening.
Must have driven past thousands of times, but today was first time venturing in...and we are so glad we did. Lovely friendly staff, nice clean tables and the food was amazing. My partner hasn't stopped raving about his chilli burger since. We will be back very soon, and also intend to try the breakfast as very good price. Well done to all the staff.
Very busy for a Tuesday evening. Glad I had booked as we were celebrating my grandsons Birthday and if we had just turned up I think we would have been turned away! Whilst waiting for my daughter to arrive we were told food would take an hour because they were so busy and the staff member was handing out colouring pages and crayons to tables that had children on. I ordered our food before she arrived and it actually took a lot less than an hour to be ready. Very much enjoyed our food. Will hopefully be able to return for another meal soon.
I have eaten here 3 times now and have enjoyed the food immensely! Friendly staff good atmosphere. I asked for my rump steak to be cooked " rare " and indeed the chef cooked it to perfection ! Compared to the food provided by the ROYAL CHARTER , an alternative pub near by, the difference is night & day ! .Four in Hand wins hands down every time ENJOY !
Booked for 6.30pm ordered meal at 7 to be told it was a 45 min wait so that was fine not a problem we had our meal which was very nice then after we finished we went to order dessert to be told they stopped serving at 8pm you would of thought if u was eating they would have still offered you a dessert as you wouldn’t want to order ice cream half an hour before your ready for it and we wasn’t told this when ordering our food. So it would have been a 4 to 5 star review but this put a dampener on it as specially as it was for a birthday and that person couldn’t have her dessert
Food was nice and well priced. Service was a bit slow food was not sent out together had to wait for kids meal and then for adults puddings. Tables are too close together once someone was on the table next to us we couldn't get out from our table.Food: 4/5
This place is absolutely fantastic. Had the loaded surf and turf, which was out of this world. the steak was cooked perfectly. Can't wait to call again next time we are in Hull. I recommend this to anyone passing to call in for an awesome meal.
I've been here twice this week and each time I've enjoyed the food and drinks. Staff are friendly,helpful and efficient it's was very warm and cosy really enjoyed it. Thanks to all the staff who are working very hard great team.
Me my partner,son and daughter-in-law went tonight for food.. was above expectations...obviously somethings changed over the last 6 too 8 months..the service was fantastic and the staff were amazing the jumbo fish was amazing thankyou
