Fabulous history. What an amazing place. The atmosphere of the building takes you right back to the 18th century. Once settled at your table staff are friendly and attentive. We felt very at home and had a lovely evening on our weekend away in Hull.
The oldest pub in Hull 1729. The front half is cosy with candle lighting. There is a roof terrace. Serves pieminister on its own or as a meal.
One of the best pubs in hull, the selection of pork pies is amazing. I would recommend only going here of you fancy a pork pie with a beer. It really does make the night.

Nice pub on our circuit. 2 gin slings a pils and a pint of stowford press. £16.20. A really old pub. Full of history and character. And got an upstairs outdoor seating area. Or some would say roof terrace.
