1st time in this pub for years. Went for lunch with sister and cousin. The food was absolutely gorgeous. I had a tuna melt panini with salad and coleslaw. I actually ordered sweet potato fries because it didn't say chips with the sandwich. When my food came it was freshly cooked and looked delicious also there was chunky chips on my plate. Food and service amazing. Very pleasant staff. Will definitely be back.
Went for afternoon tea with friends. It was an upcoming birthday treat. First of all there is plenty of parking on the road outside. The pub was reasonably busy as it was lunchtime. We prebooked a table and was seated straight away. The tables are a little close together, but I say this because I am a big man. The food was very nice with a good choice of cakes . Would we visit again.? Yes please.
Stopped in for a spot of lunch. Excellent menu, friendly staff and the food was good too. Full menu or light bite options in an afternoon if you don't want to go full on. We had the fish and chips and it was very nice.
Food was ok but waited 50 mins for a chicken burger which was so hard my mum couldn't cut it. Didn't complain as we had already waited so long but didn't want to wait any longer. My cheeseburger was lovely. It was busy but not full so don't see why it took so long. Food is normally lovely and mine was very nice but chicken burger was rock hard.
Good value as we went Wednesday lunchtime and there was 25% off all meals. Friendly helpful bar staff. Was disappointed with the coffee, it tasted ok but was only tea cup size and only 3/4 full.
Absolutely beaut meal as usual! Such lovely homemade food, huge portions and always cooked to perfection! Would return again and again and would recommend to everyone!
Took a friend for afternoon tea, the food was both plentiful & delicious. Would definitely go back again, the staff are so lovely & accommodating; a truly wonderful experience.
My sister and i have both just had a delicious afternoon gluten free tea, served beautifully, with unlimited tea and coffee, and a love smile from the lady serving, would highly recommend
Brilliant meals and real good value
Lovely local pub with a nice atmosphere. My burger and chunky fries was gorgeous and a very generous portion.
