This was a lovely experience and a great place to go for a Sunday walk. There was lots of available parking too. The gardens are stunning and well kept. I particularly liked the cherry blossom trees were a particular delight. However just be aware that the cafe isn’t open all day on Sunday, so I’d recommend checking the opening times.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Really lovely place. Grounds are well maintained and clean mostly unless at the end of a hot day where there's litter on ground due to thoughtless visitors!. Huge fields with brook running through it. A fishing lake and woodlands to explore. A great place to bring a picnic and to exercise . Spring time is a great time to visit with gorgeous flowers in bloom. One of my favourite places
Lovely estate to go for a picnic on the ground on a sunny day or visit the cafe /farm shop for a family day out. The walled garden this time of year is absolutely stunning. It was filled of Sakura/ cherry blossoms and stunning magnolias. Highly recommended to go. Very picturesque.
Very nice place to visit and spare your free time. It's also a farm here so you can see animals, forest trails if you like walking. I'm lucky that I'm living close to this place and I have the opportunity to go and clear my mind in nature. P.S: you can find also a coffee shop
Beautiful gardens and museum inside the estate. Has multiple walking trails through the forest and Cafe has wonderful food. Toilet and parking on site. Also dog friendly.
Enfield residents are very lucky to have this free attraction on their doorstep. No car parking charges and free admission to the house and gardens. Tearoom a little basic but nicer than Capel Manor down the road. We visited in the middle of the hot summer of 2022 and the green grass was scorched brown. Plenty of grounds to explore, a very enjoyable day out for all age groups.
Lovely exceptionally maintained estate. Lovely grounds, woods and fields to walk the dog and separate areas for the farm and hall etc. Free parking, and farm shop and tea room. Could do with more bins to help people keep it tidy on the main paths.
Great free place to go to. Gardens are lovely and grounds of an old place being excavated. Free parking and go later for space, although house closes at 4.00pm.
Stunning Forty Hall! Although the walk was very muddy! So be prepared to get mucky! Beautiful scenic walk and will definitely be back as 10 mins drive and great for parking and a lovely coffee!
I absolutely love Forty Hall, iv been visiting all my life. It's got the most beautiful grounds and you could walk for hours. It has a cafe and blue badge parking.
