We had a really lovely stay at the Fort Road Hotel. The rooms are beautifully designed, thoughtful, and stylish without being over the top. We didn’t have a sea view room, but it didn’t matter. It still felt cosy and well put together.nnThe building has been restored with real care, managing to feel modern while keeping its original charm. The staff were friendly and helpful in a laid-back, relaxed way, which made the whole place feel very welcoming.nnIt’s a fantastic spot, and we’d definitely stay again.
My wife and I stayed here one night with our frenchie. The room was very tasteful, exceptionally clean and the staff were very welcoming, particularly of the dog. We were even given a free upgrade! My only feedback is that the walls felt a little thin as we could definitely hear quiet conversations in adjacent rooms. Breakfast was great, location fantastic and the Virgin Mary was perfectly spicy
We stayed for one night and have a great time at Fort Road Hotel. Staff were lovely- really friendly and attentive but not over the top. The rooms were beautifully done- super comfortable beds, big bathroom and beautiful artwork and lighting. Delicious breakfast included and a fun downstairs bar. Perfect little hotel!
Had a lovely time at the Fort Road Hotel. the rooms are beautifully decorated, with a cozy and modern vibe. Everything was meticulously clean. The staff is very kind and accommodating. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for a lovely place to stay in Margate!
Lovely and cosy hotel right by the seaside. The room has everything you could want-tea, coffee, complimentary cookies, luxurious bath, comfortable bed. The staff are lovely and very welcoming. The hotel is in a great location and feels very high end, but is quite reasonably priced. The only negative is that the walls are quite thin, so you can hear everything from the room next-door. However, they provide complimentary ear plugs and I had a very restful night at this hotel. I would happily stay at this hotel again in the future.
