Lovely quiet caravan site, well maintained and just a short walk from the sand dunes, beach and red squirrel reserve.nFriendly and helpful owners too.
Mainly static, but a spot for tourers. Price reflex facilities are basic.nDog friendly - beach 5 mins walk through the sand dunes accessed from the site.nEveryone very friendly. Owners lovely.nWill definitely be booking again.nIf you want peace and quiet this is perfect :
Lovely residential site with a special area for Motor homes and Tourers. Visited with our Tentbox and were totally welcomed. You can walk onto the beach from the site and it is dog friendly. Recommended
A beautiful place. A nice little gem very quiet and a stones throw from the beautiful formby beach. We stayed Friday to Sunday picked the best weekend.nOnly thing I could criticise is that there isn't any washing up facilities and water points. The bathrooms are a bit dated but very clean.nI would definitely recommend this place and will be back again.
Toilet facilities were spotless but ladies didn't have any sanitary bins. Take your own toilet roll if you're disabled as it's difficult to twist and get the roll provided. Also showers dont really cater for the disabled population. A plastic chair would solve that.nNo bins except for one skip near reception. It is ok for a few nights or longer for those who dont have any mobility issues. Lots of sand dunes one way but a flatter way out of site to the left. Staff were friendly.
