This was a superb station for both arrival and departure, kept in a solid, modern condition! The yellow and black scheme of the trains is consistent, platforms are well-sized and departure boards are very reliable. The stairs lead out efficiently and neatly, greenery adds well to the architecture and cleanliness was enforced!
Excellent service from the guy at the ticket office nothing was any problem helped us with advice about senior rail cards and journey planning.
The train station ticket staff are always very helpful and warm. They are friendly and chatty, even early on a Monday morning!
Although there are toilets on the station, they are currently out of order due to vandalism.nIf you require disabled assistance, the staff are really friendly and helpful.
