Good car park but can fill up very quickly. Today was the last weekend of the kids summer holidays and a sunny day, and the car park was full by 11am. There are toilets which close by 4pm and a good cart serving coffee and crepes alongwith some hot and cold drinks.
Lovely beach. Lifeboat road is our preferred carpark. Much easier to get out of when busy. Parking is £8.50, cash in the machine or wait for the attendant to arrive with their van and pay by card. We always try and arrive before 10.30 am during busy periods and have never had any issues finding a space.
One of my favourite places, beautiful big beach with stunning surroundings. If you are looking for quiet time try late afternoon even in hot summer day can be just a few people. There is a big car park £7.50 for all day, unfortunately no option to pay less if you would like to stay one hour or two.
One of my favourite places to go to get some work/life balance.nI love swimming in the sea and always feel safe there.nThe beach is really well looked after by the wonderful volunteers who sadly have to litter pick after a sunny day.nThats the only downside is those that don't clean up after themselves. Leave footprints and create memories not a leave the place a mess.
