Just returned from an amazing two night break at Flowery Dell (Maple lodge). The pictures of the lodges and 360 degree views on the website might look great, but still don't do them justice! Trust me when you see the lodges in the flesh you'll agree they exceed all expectations and are bigger and more spacious than they look online. Our lodge was 'nipping clean' and well equipped for anything you might need during your stay. The hot tub was immaculate and having stayed in many locations with hot tubs I've seen both extremes and these tubs are very very well looked after. The views are amazing from the lodges, rabbits running around day and night. The bedrooms are nice and the beds are comfortable. The only thing that could have been better was if both bathrooms had a shower. There is only one in the en suite and a bath in the other. For us, it wasn't much of a problem though so I'm not complaining at all. We will 100% return here for more breaks. Give it a try...

Regularly come here at least every few months. Brilliant friendly chilled out break. Log cabins for every need. Dog friendly which you would not even know a dog had been there, very clean & well equipped. Disabled one storey cabins & family cabins all with clean well kept sunken Hot Tubs . They do Last minute deals too. Fantastic pubs nearby which are also dog friendly wich 1st class Food & drinks & open fire

Lovely log cabin. Exceptional standard of cleanliness and the things provided. Little things that make it nice. Everything you need for a few days away is provided. Just bring food. Plenty of hot water. Not too far out of the way. 5 min drive to main shops in Catterick or Richmond centre. Would definitely recommend.

Just spent a two night mini break, in the Sycamore Lodge at Flowery Dell.... What a wonderful find. Even the drive down to the lodges was pleasant, the well, the stone circle and the friendly Shetland ponies were a joy. The lady at reception (sorry didn't get her name), was friendly and welcoming and then we got to the lodge. The first thing we noticed that there was no 'doggy' smell,even though it was a dog friendly lodge. The lodge was warm, bright and well set out with everything you could need, (they really seem to have thought of everything) there was even dog towels and treats left for the dog, which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was great for relaxing in, the grounds were ideal for dog walking/ exercising and it was so quiet and peaceful. We also discovered the lovely, dog friendly George and Dragon pub 25 mins walk away, where we received a warm welcome, had a gorgeous meal. It was just what we wanted, a nice, relaxed break in wonderful accommodation and great surroundings. Would highly recommend and we will be booking again.

Lodges are very well equipped and spotless. Only a 20 minute walk into Richmond. After a long day walking and seeing the sites there is nothing better than sitting in the hot tub. Very well run and reasonably priced... Can't fault it
