Superb service from start to finish. Chaps in office were polite and organized, especially after I had to re-arrange pick-up. My driver was a consummate professional in a nice Mercedes, who drove really efficiently for a longer distance drop-off. An absolute pleasure and now top of my list for options.

I really don't like leaving bad reviews for anything, in fact, this is a first. My Mom is visiting from California and I booked us a hair apt together a month ago at a place really hard to get a booking at, travelling on from there to the train station and a weekend away before she flies back. I live nearly walking distance (about 20 min walk) from salon but, having a pretty bad head cold, opted to order a taxi. Ordered the taxi at 8am for 8:50 thinking if it were 15 mins after we'd only be a couple minutes late for the apt. 9am got dispatch call. Taxi arrived 9:12, by the time we got to the hair apt it was too late so we had to just be driven home. The salon felt really awkward having to turn us away and I felt really embarrassed. I felt bad for the driver as well as it seemed he'd been stuck in traffic, he was very polite. What angered me was I'd try to ring to see where the driver was for a full 10 minutes with no answer. I'm not an aggressive person and am pretty understanding but just being ignored really irritated me. Not a nice start to a Mom/Daughter weekend (I only get to see her every few years). Would have just liked an apology, or at least explanation. The driver offered to not charge us but I could not help but think it was not really his fault. If a taxi rank is going to leave you waiting they ought to answer your call to at least explain! Nice driver but poor service from the company. Not happy at all with this.

Feel totally ripped off!! We were quoted £20 telephonically, after informing them that we had 4 bags. We were then told by driver, en route, that an estate car was the normal fare plus 50% and had to pay £30. First and last time!

I am honestly annoyed I have to give them even 1 star! 30 mins late, don't answer your calls and after you've called 4 times and they do answer they lie. We get in the cab and no apology offered. I would rather strap sea turtles to my feet than bothering with these crusty jugglers again!

So excited to be Christmas shopping and having dinner with old friends in beautiful Norwich that I totally forgot to leave the keys with one of my teenage kids. At 4pm I get an angry call from the kids and the horror of the situation dawns on me. I'm 90 minutes away and the kids are waiting outside the house. I called this cab company and explained the problem. They organised a driver to meet me at the shopping centre within 5 minutes. The driver was a real character and assured me he'd be heading straight there. I handed over the keys and cash but spent the next 90 mins wondering if that was a mistake and if the kids were ok. But I shouldn't have worried, he was true to his word and in no time my kids were calling to say they were in. He got there quicker than i could have. Massive relief and thank you so much Five Star, you were fantastic.
