Good taxi service in Colchester. They are nice to talk to and also shares more numbers if they don’t have cabs at that moment. Sometimes have limited services. Charges are same as market rate. Reliable and fulfills it’s booking. Not my go to but it’s definitely not bad.
I cannot recommend Five Sevens enough. I have been using them since the 1980’s for myself, and now for my daughter. They are extremely reliable, helpful and friendly. They will go out of their way to accommodate you even when they are stretched. If it wasn’t for their forward thinking regarding protesters on the A12 in the summer, we wouldn’t have got to the airport on time for our flight, but they went out of their way to let me know in advance and bring our pick up time forward. They have also kept my daughter safe over the last 3 years and always arrived on time to pick her up from college and now ensure that she gets to and from work . They gave given me peace of mind when I have been at work and unable to run her around myself. An absolutely outstanding service, I will not use any other taxi company in Colchester. Try them!!!
I ordered a taxi to the station. The driver who picked me up was a delight. Friendly, chatty and gave me a great information about the beautiful town of Colchester. From someone who is used to the brass manners of London Taxi drivers, this gentleman was a delight. Thank you again!
Fantastic! Very friendly, and a smooth driver. Fantastic prices. Collected me at 12am on a Friday night! With less than 2hrs notice. Got me home safe and waited until we were inside to leave- just to make sure we were safe.
I called this company having been let down by another company who were due to pick up my Aunt from a National Express Coach which was running late...the two ladies on the phone were very helpful and assured me they would have a driver there for her which saved me a great deal of worry. Would not hesitate in recommending them, very sympathetic and efficient.
Called for taxi , I was asked how many peiple I said just one, no one asked about any luggages. My trip was just arround 1 mile only. I had to take two suitcases and an additional two small back packs. The driver at the end asked 15 pounds, which is totally unreasonable, and when I expressed my concern that its not reasonable the driver became very aggressive and then suddenly dropped his price to 10 pounds! I dont call this professionalism! If your company so worried about the few luggages you need to ask about it upfront right away, customers should not be caught surprised! Not a good experience.
Called for a taxi and was told it would be 30 minutes which was fine. After 45 minutes I called to find out where the taxi was as the midwife office had shut so I had to now wait outside in the freezing cold 28 weeks pregnant with my 1 year old and 6 year old! I was told it was 10 minutes away. Another 15 minutes goes past I call again to be told AGAIN it’s 5 minutes away, another 10 minutes I call again this happens twice more I then CALL AGAIN crying as my children and myself have been stood in the freezing cold for over an hour to be told that the taxi’s 3 minutes away and then he says in the same breath that’s the taxi’s still in town!? The taxi finally shows up and the driver over charges me! I’m so angry! I will NEVER be using this incompetent company again and the driver is an absolute c**t. He could see that my children and myself were visibly upset and clearly took advantage by charging me way more than what it should have been. Should be disgusted with themselves.
0 stars if I could. Arrived at the station to no car, when I called they had booked it for the day before and weren’t able to send a car to pick us up. Really unhelpful and unwilling to admit it was their mistake, and we were stuck at the station for 45 minutes waiting for another taxi to pick us up. Definitely don’t recommend. *in response to their reply, I very clearly said Friday when booking the taxi so I can only assume you didn’t listen/or misheard again being unwilling to admit it was their error and I had no message from any driver trying to contact me, so this is just a lie.
Nothing but good things to say about this company. So easy to set up, fair prices, friendly drivers and I even called to extend my pickup time and change locations, and they were very accommodating.
Very helpful, on a day when I hadn't planned how I was going to get a family of 5 to the zoo and back, they were amazing, had a taxi outside within 10 minutes of walking into the office. Will definitely use next time I'm in Colchester!
