"Our Oxford Circus gym, situated in the heart of London’s West End, offers members a fantastic space in which they can work out, but also relax and socialise in too. Located just a five-minute walk from Oxford Circus Underground station or a ten-minute walk from Piccadilly Circus Underground station, Fitness First Oxford Circus has a cardio theatre, spin studio, sauna, gym floor, plus a members’ lounge. Fresh towels are also available on arrival. If it’s group exercise classes that you’re interested in, a weekly timetable of classes includes SHRED, Body Attack, yoga, spin, circuit, Body Pump, and HIIT, to highlight just a few. Personal training sessions are also available, for those who need help defining their health and fitness goals."

I cannot praise Pearl Anderson, the Member Experience Manager at Fitness First Oxford Street, highly enough. She is an absolute gem and a true asset to the gym. Pearl is incredibly attentive, kind, and always goes above and beyond to ensure members are happy. Her problem-solving skills are exceptional, and she truly cares about creating a positive experience for everyone. I joined this gym purely because of my amazing experience with Pearl, and I’ve even recommended it to friends who are looking for a welcoming and well-managed gym. Fitness First really hit the jackpot with such a talented manager who is so dedicated to her role. Pearl, thank you for everything you do – you make the gym experience outstanding and I look forward to your classes!
Pearl, the gym manager stands out amongst all the FF staff/sales people I’ve ever come across. She was very supportive & understanding of my needs & was also very positive & enthusiastic. It shows that she takes time to get to know her customers' needs as she presents herself with lovely empathetic attitude. I’m glad to have come across her as she made my gym visit very enjoyable & comfortable without rushing me to make a decision about joining. We need more genuine honest people like her! Hey Fitness First, I’m reaching out because I had a really disappointing experience at your Oxford Circus location on April 12th from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. I expected a friendly and inclusive vibe—something you guys usually nail—but this time, things didn't go as planned, all thanks to the behavior of one of your staff members. Here’s what happened: I was denied access to the sauna along with a few other guests. The staff member didn’t just stop us from using the sauna; she actually told us to leave the gym completely. This was a shock since the guest pass didn’t mention any restrictions about the sauna, and it’s even highlighted in your online virtual tour. What made the situation worse was how we were treated. The staff member was outright rude and used offensive language. It was completely uncalled for and went against everything I’ve come to expect from Fitness First. Could you look into this? I’d also like an explanation of the sauna access policy for guests to clear up any confusion and make sure this doesn’t happen to others. The staff member wouldn’t give her name, but I’ve attached her picture. I hope you’ll take quick action to sort this out and make sure it doesn’t happen again. This is not my home gym but I decided to do one of the Pilates classes here and I am blown away. Gabby is a fantastic instructor, the class is challenging however she always provides a calm and encouraging environment, and suggests alternative moves for people with injuries or beginners. I have been back every week since and I have also taken other Pilates classes at other gyms, but Gabby has by far been my favourite instructor.
Poor value for money. It’s too cheap to have nice amenities and too expensive for what it does offer. Cons: Change rooms too small for capacity, showers are grimy, sauna too small, not enough class options Pros: nice equipment
Seen some shockingly bad behaviour from staff. A female worker just walked into the men's changing room with no warning whatsoever while some were naked changing. A male worker also came in so there was no need for the female to be there. This shouldn't be happening in men's changing rooms and females too. Very poor!
I went to the gym for the first time today and I felt bad about the service at the reception. I was in the sauna and was practically thrown out of there. The woman not only went into the men's bathroom but almost told me I couldn't shower. She treated me badly just because I forgot to put my weight away. Tomorrow I'm going to cancel my subscription. It was the worst experience of all the gyms I've been to. I paid to use the gym's services and she treated me as if I was there for free.

Shambles. Today was my last time going to the gym as I ended my membership due to gym classes always getting cancelled last minute once I’ve already made the hour journey. Ironically today it happened on my last day - cancelled 15 minutes before once I had already got to Oxford Circus. Such a waste of my time and energy. Also, the air con never works which is unbearable in summer. The only good and reliable instructor I’ve come across is Chris
