We had a message, email and telephone call from Mark advising of time for delivery. They were here just after 7am. Very polite. Mark and Neil covered front door and laid runner in Hall. Furniture was brought in and unpacked. Checked it was in right place and electrics were working. Took away all the packing. Very efficient and friendly. First Class service as always.
The delivery men rang beforehand, were punctual, polite and speedy in assembling my eight items of furniture. I was delighted with the service.
Darrin and Roy did a great job delivering our bed making sure everything was appropriately covered and protected and carefully delivering the bed to our bedroom. They were polite and spot on time.nnSadly it was the wrong bed delivered but that wasn't Darrin and Roy's issue and that is the story for another not so positive review to be submitted which will have 4 less stars!
Extremely poor AFTER SALES. Furniture DOESNT LAST BEYOND 3 YEARS! Please reconsider before investing money on this poor quality furniture.nAn honest review: I spent over £2000 on a dining set and matching bar stools in December 2022. At Christmas just gone one of the legs on one of the chairs suddenly gave way. On closer inspection my husband could see the metal had bent over & split. We reported to Fishpools who initially said we were 2 weeks out of our 3 year warranty. Eventually they agreed to send one of their technical team to assess the chairs. On inspection he looked at all the chairs and noted that in fact they had all been poorly manufactured and the metal solder on the legs had gaps, which was causing the metal to bend and eventually break/give way.nFollowing the inspection, fishpools emailed to confirm there was a fault with the chairs which originated from manufacture BUT because I had had them for three years, they were charging me a ‘usage fee’ - so would only give me a store credit for half the amount paid on the chairs, which I could then put towards replacement chairs! However as they no longer make the chairs, any new chairs I purchased with the nominal amount of store credit they were offering, would not match my dining bench nor bar stools. Plus the chairs were clearly never fit for purpose in the first place so any of them could have given way at any time. This meant after spending over £2k on a dining set which was in the sale btw so apparently valued at more originally only three years ago, which I would expect to last 10+ years, it was already FALLING APART!nWe are beyond DISAPPOINTED. We have been back and fourth with Ashleigh at Fishpools but they are adamant they will only offer a store credit for half of what I paid for the chairs alone. That means the chairs alone cost over £600 so they’ll only give just over £300 to replace just the chairs. If I do that, not only will I have to put more money to cover the cost of replacement chairs, they will no longer match my bench or bar stools so it will all be mismatched!nHonestly, don’t go to Fishpools! I was sold on the local family business bit but they really do not care.nnI have included a photo of my furniture arrangements so one can see why I’m so disappointed with the resolution Fishpools have proposed. I really thought I’d have this matching furniture for many years - not just 3!!
Desmond and Paul arrived at the time I was told and they both couldn’t have been more helpful. Professional and courteous in every way. They positioned the furniture exactly where I asked and took all the packaging away with them. You are very fortunate to have these two members of staff at Fishpools. Really impressed.
