I like browsing in CeX as you never know what bargain you might find. What I like about CeX mostly is knowing that it's selling used things rather than them ending up in land fill. I came today to the one in Waltham Cross and grab myself a couple of items and am very pleased with my purchases and what I paid for them. I have also used CeX online to purchase in the past and for this service to be brilliant. If you are into gaming/phones or electronic things then CeX is definitely worth a visit.
I ordered a flight stick online last Thursday It came from this store, for some reason they didn't bother to dispatch it, Now it says in delivery but tracking doesn't work, It also says ive received a refund,. I have not received either, before 2022 all CEX store's were brilliant at despatching orders, Now I have no flight stick or no refund. Don't really understand tbhas cex have always been of high standards.
Expensive for used goods and the fact they give you more on a store voucher than cash says everything my advice walk 5 minutes to the other end of Waltham cross shopping center and go to cash converters. Just like CEX with out the BS.
Only call you back once on a private number if there are any ‘problems’ with goods you have left with them & there is no direct number to call back. Who answers unknown numbers these days nobody Even if it’s just the poxy box that they give £2 for majority of people will just use the box cos it’s easier to carry for Christ sake & they will still DEFINITELY use the box 5 people in there doing absolutely nothing so if someone could call me back by 6 today I’d be grateful or I’ll have to take the morning off work to come down. Thanks
Great tech shop to recycle old tech for money or vouchers which you can then use to buy newer or up to date replacements.
If you're looking for cheap second DVDs, games or electronics. This is a pretty good place to start The staff are friendly enough. Ideal place if you have old tech to sell rather than eBay etc. I just wish that they would dust there shelfs.!
While selling my microphone I was perusing the items on sale at Cex and had a pleasant conversation with the staff behind the counter about fighting games. Such a joyous day thank you Cex.
Recently sold my old computer here for a very reasonable price. Served by Rhiannon B, very helpful and friendly. 4 stars not 5 because I dropped off the items 2 hours before close and was told they couldn’t test the items that day because was closing soon? Also, was promised a call back to confirm sale price but never did and I just received an email to confirm final price.
The staff here are really great going above & beyond to help and advise on what's good, industry info etc etc.
Good selection if dads which I needed for daughter and reasonably priced.
